The idea behind this website is threefold...
Like one in a billion or so humans (debateable, the human part that is) and many of my friends I have a Facebook, Myspace, Netlog, Hyves, Bebo, LinkedIn and what not. However they are not mine. On MySpace for instance thousands of fake lesbians can play a weird form of Second Life, while bands harrass you for fame and glory. On Facebook all the applications I ever said "allow" to can see whatever details I change, thanks for that. And so on ... while on here, I can share whatever I want, how I want.
The second reason for creating this is to practise my design and coding/scripting skills, for personal and professional reasons. I have always loved to draw and design things ... first in LEGO, then with pen and paper, later on with Photoshop and now in Dreamweaver ... At least I didn't study IT for nothing, and I absolutely love creating something out of nothing. More on that in due time, ie. my project.
The final reason is that with these pages people from my past, present and future - who would never find me on prementioned profile websites - now have a way of contacting me. I've come to realise that life is not a testrun. This is it! So who knows who's out there that once crossed my path, or will do so in the future.
